CAREERS Local used to Great Effect by Royal School for the Deaf Students at the Royal School for the Deaf have undertaken employability activities over a period of 5 weeks such as - preparing application forms, researching job roles and practicing using interpreters. Students explained in a video interview what they had learnt and how to present themselves in an interview through describing how the activities had helped improve their confidence. See more here.

08/03/2017, 10.30am is the time for THE BIG ASSEMBLY 2018

What Is The Big Assembly? ‘The Big Assembly’ is a live video stream to thousands across the UK wanting to find out more about apprenticeships and career options post 16.  The event is during National Apprenticeship Week and on International Women’s day, this second Big Assembly will attempt to beat last year’s record of 10,000 people being online all at the same time for careers advice and guidance.

Schools, young people, parents, careers advisors and employers from across the nation are invited at 10.30, on 8 March 2018 to take part in this year’s Big Assembly.

This year the focus is diversity and social mobility, you’ll hear from Apprentices and employers who’ll be sharing their stories and inviting questions from a live and virtual audience through this interactive broadcast.
