The Greenwood Campus of Nottingham Academy will host organisers of ‘The Big Assembly’ to broadcast the event for young people, parents and employers who want to learn about apprenticeships and post 16 career options.

It’s the second time ‘The Big Assembly’ is holding a “careers webinar” but the first time it plans to hold the event in front of pupils at a school.

Helen Richardson, one of the Big Assembly Producers, says she was blown away by the success and excitement of last year’s production.

“This year is going to be bigger, better and more interactive with the opportunity for anyone to put their questions to a panel of apprentices and employers," she said.

The Big Assembly 2018 will broadcast live during National Apprenticeship Week, will showcase three employers and apprentices from different companies.

Anyone can register for free by visiting and watch employers and apprentices talk about their career success and work-place learning experiences from 10:30 on March 8.

A consortium of experts from The East Midlands Apprenticeship Ambassador Network, Workpays and GetMyFirstJob – who created the “ground-breaking” event – will also be on hand to answer questions through an online Q&A.

The National Apprenticeship Service and a range of employers committed to apprenticeships, including degree level apprenticeships, have also supported the event.
